If so, you could be our next Design Engineer to enter into the Machine Control Systems department of FLSmidth Automation. We are responsible for solutions to local control of the main machinery in the cement and minerals industry. Detailed Description Electrical machine design, PLC-programming and development Your main objective is to engineer PLC-based control solutions for large production machines for cement and minerals on a global scale. Your work will consist of: · Electrical control panel design · PLC-programming · Coordinate order execution with our counterpart in Chennai, India · Test of machine panels and other electrical equipment · Perform inspections and follow up on our suppliers · Standardizing working & test procedures globally · Take an active part of the continuous development and optimisation of FLSmidth’s competences and tools within the automation area. You can look forward to entering an international project team. On a daily basis you will be co-operating with our Indian department, colleagues from our local and global organisation as well as international supervisors posted at our sites around the world. You will have ample possibilities for participating in commissioning processes on our sites globally, and you can anticipate 30 – 60 travel days a year. Job Requirements Electrical Engineer or Electrician with good cooperation skills You have a professional background as Electrical Engineer, Certified Electrician or similar. Experience within automation as well as PLC and HMI-programming will be an advantage. Your overview is comprehensive, and you are able to handle and prioritise several tasks simultaneously. As a person you are known as a strong team player with a positive outlook. In addition, you are able to create intensive collaborative relations due to your high level of professionalism, your solid communication skills (in English), and responsible approach.
