Financial Controller for handling the Record-to-Report finance process

Do you want to be part of Financial Accounting & Controlling, ensuring excellent financial controlling and reporting by driving process optimisation? 

Join us and become Financial Controller in Financial Accounting & Controlling where you’ll be responsible for optimising our finance processes. We work with accounting and controlling as one function across the organisation, so you’ll be involved in cross-company projects.

 

Your key tasks will be to

• identify and document the Record-to-Report process, including internal controls
• solve accounting process issues and ensure that accounting policies are adhered to going forward
• drive the continuous optimisation of accounting processes by being part of our Record-to-Report Agile Release Train.

 

Your competences include that you

• thrive in the spot between finance, IT and the business, always looking to engage your cross-functional competences to continuously optimise and digitalise processes
• have a degree (master’s degree, ACA) within controlling and accounting and some experience within financial controlling or accounting processes in an international group or from an audit firm, where you’ve gained solid experience with internal controls and process optimisation
• have knowledge of IFRS, from a practical, operational point of view
• have a good business understanding and communicate clearly in writing, and you like to communicate financial issues in a readily understandable language
• speak and write English at an academic level.

 

Furthermore, you have a flair for IT systems and programs, and it’s an advantage if you have knowledge of SAP, HFM and Microsoft Office. In addition, you have an analytical and logical approach to issues as well as a critical sense in respect of information received. You thrive in a changing environment and take independent responsibility, and you enjoy working together across teams and national borders.
