As a Global Quality Inspector in the FLSmidth Denmark QC team you will be part of our centralized Group Procurement organization, a very engaged & professional organization working globally and across all divisions and entities in FLSmidth.

 

Set the direction and execute - to deliver success

You will be part of a team of global quality inspectors improving the quality of FLSmidth equipment securing alignment with Global Product Line management & strategies. As Global Quality inspector, you will be responsible for specific products enabling our suppliers to deliver best in class solutions in our industry. You ensure right specifications, optimal timing, proper supervision for specific products in order to deliver on time, on budget and with top-class quality. In detail, it will be your job to:

 

• Ensure the right quality of complex casted, forged and welded products
• Practise NDT inspections of welding and castings
• Perform final inspection to reconcile outgoing shipments
• Complete required documentation for work performed
• Building and maintaining relations to our suppliers as well as to internal stakeholders
• Develop new and existing suppliers
• Approve, update and forward progress reports
• Ensure the success of the ongoing optimisation of processes and methods
• Constantly be a part of best practise implementation 
• Coach, motivate and develop your team colleagues

   

You can foresee up to 150-210 travel days per year.

Your CV covers vast experience from challenging quality work of complex products. For that matter, your technical expertise could derive from an engineering degree supported by a solid manufacturing understanding and the ability to deliver results in a complex organisational setting. You have proven your ability to perform inspection and supervise suppliers in technical and manufacturing matters.

 

You have a considerable and in depth understanding of fabrication processes as well as quality systems and construction. You have a strong drive and have an ability to adapt but also work independently. You will collaborate very closely with a number of internal departments so we also expect you to have strong cooperation skills and to be proficient in English as well as understanding cultural differences and communication styles.
