About the position

Siemens Gamesa is looking for a Head of controlling for our Service Technology function in Pamplona, Spain - and for the right person it will be possibel to work out of Denmark. You engage as part of the top leadership team in the function, that consists of more than 500 employees mainly in Spain and Denmark. Through your engagement you acquire fundamental information about the activities of the organization. You use this insight proactively to reach the business targets of the function, optimize the business and create value for customers and the company. Besides, you engage in the controlling and commercial leadership team of all the Service Functions on a variety of leadership, commercial and controlling topics.
 
 

About the role

With your dedicated team of controllers, you ensure consolidated transparency of the financial performance in the organization, so it is clear what proactively needs to be done so that the function delivers according to budget and forecast on its operating cost, headcount and project cost for activities.

• You will direct and develop your dedicated team of business controllers based in Brande in Denmark and Pamplona in Spain
• Develop and ensure that the financial operating model support the organization in setting and tracking priorities and projects.
• Set internal pricing of services in line with transfer pricing regulations and via service level agreements ensure proper documentation and safeguard clean books and records.
• Financial end-to-end insight to validate and follow-up on business cases in the technology function.

 

About you

You are a good and a robust people manager with at least 5 years of experience from a financial and controlling leadership role in a global organization. Your past career has provided you a thorough hands-on knowledge of the different disciplines within the financial and business controlling area.

You thrive in a multi-facetted work environment where you work across different countries, cultures, functions etc. You navigate easily in an atmosphere characterized by a variety of demands, and your approach is diplomatic, though also decisive. You have high integrity and take pride in your team meeting deadlines timely and of high quality.

You can quickly establish an overview and decide on next step. You are an excellent communicator with fluency in English, orally as well as in writing. If you speak Spanish it would be a big advantage.

In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
