Ramboll is in the relatively early days of an exciting Procurement Transformation program to deliver financial and process efficiencies across all external spend categories. We are looking for a dynamic and skilled sourcing manager who has experience with IT contract management in a global environment, is well-versed in Vendor Management processes, and has solid experience in leading strategic sourcing initiatives. Experience working in an international environment is an advantage, as well as the ability to network with people from different locations, and across cultures and organizational levels.

Your responsibilities 
You will be part of the staff that reports directly to the Director of Global Procurement, and responsible for a small team of category managers covering all areas of Indirect spend. Your core focus is on developing and executing a strategic procurement roadmap for all IT and Technology categories, driving savings and business value through sourcing across Indirect spend projects, and acting as a change ambassador within the organisation.

Outside of the organisation, building a Supplier Relationship Management strategy and appropriate relationships to support Ramboll’s business aims and processes is key.

Your core task will be to:

• Develop and lead the daily operations of the Indirect spend team
• Develop and drive the IT Procurement strategy in collaboration with key functional stakeholders
• Drive the professionalization of IT Category Management, including development and implementation of a strategic roadmap
• Play a core role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing procurement systems and processes to facilitate transparency of spend and speed to savings
• Conduct tenders (together with our IT and Legal team), handle agreements and ensure appropriate KPI and contract management is in place to secure the most optimal terms and pricing for Ramboll, while maintaining a focus on developing sustainable & ethical suppliers
• Support the overall development of the Global Procurement function

Some travel activity should be expected to other countries where Procurement provides support to Ramboll's business units.

You will be based at our headquarters in Copenhagen (Denmark), Espoo (Finland) or Southampton (UK).

This is a fulltime position and is to be filled as soon as possible.

You and your competencies
You hold a relevant Bachelor or Master level degree, supplemented by minimum five years sourcing and management experience, preferably in an international company.

You have a solid understanding of IT agreement types and understand the operational model. Experience with strategic IT negotiations is a must.

You show strong Procurement and Project Management skills and a focus on Process Optimization. You support this with strong Communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation. You have solid Planning and Negotiation experience, and a desire to support the organisation in developing these skills.

Furthermore, you are assertive, and with a willingness and ability to produce results in a relatively complex and international organization. Your open and engaged approach means that you thrive in an informal and solution-oriented environment, characterized by growth and change.

You should also be able to:

• Drive change within the organization and deliver new processes around Contract & Vendor management
• Work in a structured manner, while handling multiple projects
• Provide analysis of issues and figures and translate these into concrete change proposals
• Communicate fluently in English (corporate language). Proficiency in Danish is a benefit
• Use core MS Office applications at an appropriate level. Particular emphasis is laid on Excel & Powerpoint capabilities
