Do you have the business mind-set, power and perseverance to optimise the value add and cost of insurance and corporate risk management within a large global industrial company? Then keep on reading as you could be the Head of Group Insurance we are looking for. You will lead, motivate and develop a small team of highly specialised and skilled insurance professionals, and you will be responsible for our global insurance programmes, activities and insurance suppliers for the entire Danfoss Group, i.e. liability, property all risk, transport, D&O, other specialty lines, brokers and risk consultants. Optimise, develop and implement global insurance programmes You will report to the VP of Group Treasury & Insurance and work closely together with the Risk Management organisation and other important key stakeholders to achieve Danfoss goals within insurance risk management. You will lead and develop our global insurance programmes optimising premium, terms and conditions on all insurance lines and other agreements. As such, you will lead negotiations of renewal terms, conditions and insurance premiums for all the global insurance programmes and work with our global companies and brokers network regarding local insurance programmes. Other key areas of responsibility are: •Global Insurance insurers & broker •Leading and organising claims handling processes for all lines •Day-to-day matters in relation to internal and external insurance matters •Collecting global renewal information •Participating in preparation of submission documents for the insurance market •Preparing internal reports for Danfoss’ risk boards •Chairing and leading the Insurance Risk Committee •Ensuring compliance with local laws and internal standards on all global Insurance programmes •Cooperation with Risk Consultants regarding surveys & risk analysis As this is a truly cross-functional position within the Danfoss Group, it is very important that you are able to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers and that you are able to work with and through others to both achieve the targets of Danfoss and our business units. Industrial insurance programmes expert, business-oriented mind-set and strong leadership skills Besides your MSc degree in Business Economics or the like, your track record displays extensive experience from a similar position working with corporate insurance programmes, topped with solid know-how within corporate risk management. Part of your insurance experience derives from an international setting. Taking a leading position comes natural to you, and you have well-developed analytical skills and the ability to maintain a general view of large amounts of data and processes. You are a gifted leader who challenges and motivates others to perform and achieve results. As a skilled communicator with a high degree of integrity, it is easy for you to translate information into an accessible language to colleagues who do not possess your insurance insight. In addition, since you are a highly entrepreneurial spirit, you thrive on giving that bit of extra to secure a successful outcome.
