Here is a unique opportunity to use your marketing and communication skills to leverage and transform the AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO) audience capabilities into content and marketing value for the LEGO Group.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the Marketing Integration function in the AFOL Engagement department and set direction for sustainable and mutually beneficial activities between the AFOL community and global LEGO Group initiatives.

• Translate the needs and strategies of key internal stakeholders, primarily LEGO Agency, Digital Consumer Engagement teams, Product Group teams and Brand Development into opportunities for the AFOL community to contribute their talent, content and stories to support the LEGO Group’s marketing communication both in campaign and always-on communication.

• Scope specific concepts and develop briefings in collaboration with internal stakeholders to be shared with the AFOL community. Utilize AFOL Engagement platforms and networks and ensure realization of plans made with stakeholders in collaboration with colleagues across the AE department. Drive scalable solutions for integration of user generated advocacy into global LEGO Group marketing toolboxes.

• Drive the agenda to celebrate and inspire LEGO systematic creativity by giving AFOLs an official LEGO stage from where they can shine and inspire the world.

• Take an active role in the AFOL Engagement Business Integration core team to secure internal alignment and a holistic approach to delivering integrated Marketing solutions based on AFOL community capabilities. Representing AE with a holistic and strategic mindset in various stakeholder forums.

The AFOL Engagement Department is responsible for building relationships and co-creating consumer and business value with the global community of AFOLs. We work closely with hundreds of user groups and fan media. We innovate, stimulate and support user creativity and we leverage platforms like LEGO Ideas to co-create products, experiences, content and marketing stories with users and internal stakeholders.

The role of the Head of Marketing Integration within AFOL Engagement is to increase the departments’ systematic work with internal stakeholders to integrate and realize business value originating from our creative AFOL community.

The Head of Marketing Integration is a member of the AFOL Engagement Leadership Team.

Do you have what it takes?

• Master’s degree in a business, marketing or communication related field.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience from a large organization within marketing integration, experience marketing, strategic communications or business development areas.

• You are a self-motivated and motivational leader with strong collaboration skills, who can identify and drive marketing communication initiatives developed with talented and passionate LEGO fans globally.

• You have experience from and are passionate about working with user communities and care about the importance of maintaining and stimulating the brand advocacy eco-system.

• You are able to translate the needs and strategy of stakeholders into engagement concepts that motivates community engagement, brand advocacy and high-quality output.

• You are strong on planning, using data to measure impact, setting objectives and targets and following up on progress. You are systematic in how you close the feedback loop with fans as well as stakeholders.

• You are energized by working towards planned targets, overcoming obstacles, set-backs and uncertainty.

• You are a team player and collaborate across different departments and functional areas. The position requires a great deal of cross channel and department collaboration with multiple stakeholders involved.

• You understand digital and get energized working with new unproved/non-standard initiatives

• You are bold, take ownership and drive progress.

• You have experience from the Agency world.

• Your English is advanced and fluent
