About the department

In Global Information Security, we are looking for a Student Assistant. You join a team of ambitious, supportive and hardworking colleagues, in an organisation that values good team spirit. You will join our Global Information Security Management department and be a part of the Global Information Security community, currently consisting of 40+ global colleagues working with information security in operations, manufacturing, projects and strategy. 

Our departments are in Denmark, USA and India and we have local Information security contacts, as well as, important stakeholders throughout the world.
Global Information Security Management is part of Global IT in Novo Nordisk. In Global IT we manage critical IT systems, services and infrastructure used along the entire value chain of Novo Nordisk. We are 1000+ highly skilled IT professionals. Our users across Novo Nordisk are at the centre of our work.

 

The position

Your primary tasks are to support the Department Manager and senior architects in their daily work, for instance by identifying best practices and defining security controls in various situations. In addition to this, you will maintain and develop content on our internal websites and coordinate department events. Your tasks will develop over time and you will get a number of ad hoc tasks and special projects depending on your skills and interests. 

We expect you to work 15-20 hours per week. We offer a high degree of flexibility around your exams.

You will report to the Director of Global Information Security Management and be exposed to a number of key stakeholders throughout Global IT.

 

Qualifications

Below are the skills required.

• You are studying a relevant Bachelor's or Master’s degree with 2-3 years left in your studies. You have obtained excellent results and have strong communication skills
• You are fluent in written and oral English
• You work structured and independently and you are known to have a positive and diplomatic personality
• You will thrive with our risk based approach, if you are pragmatic. It is easy to panic over all the information security threats arising in the world and you must be able to keep it cool and find realistic solutions
