The job

In your new job, you will be part of the Communications & Digital Channels team, reporting to the Web Channel Manager. You will balance between execution and strategy. You will have the responsibility to run the global social media channels regarding content, analytics, and optimization and have a close cooperation with our local sales companies about their local social media groups. You lead the global pages, advise on best practice, and help to deliver the tools that our sales companies need to succeed and grow. Your responsibility also includes the social media advertising budget and run of the PR activities. You furthermore ensure consistent planning, management and execution of activities in digital channels, primarily social media and PR.

It will be your responsibility to ensure that we run best-in-class social media marketing in terms of user intriguing content for both B2B and B2C. You ensure excellent performance and continuous optimization based on data. You are our social media expert who are on top of trends in the channels and evaluate new and existing channels. You set the strategic direction of the social media channels and PR as well as execute on them together with our sister companies and other marketing colleagues.

 

The nature of the job will be diverse, but your core responsibilities will be centered around the following:

• Ensure that the social media channels, primarily Facebook, are continuously developed, updated, maintained and optimized
• Responsible for developing and initiating content development and production for social media channels
• Responsible for monitoring and handling incoming comments and questions on social media channels
• Responsible for PR activities
• Ensure relevant content to the right recipients and alignment in key messages across channels
• Responsible for driving the process in an always-on mind-set
• Budget responsibility for social advertising
• Plan, develop and manage social media editorial calendar and posting schedule, publish posts on social channels and monitor conversations
• Setting up KPI’s and reading analytics – and act on the results
• Technical use of platform (Falcon Social)
• Ensure alignment with other channels
• Ensuring cooperation with local sales offices
• Scouting for new digital trends and technologies – and act on them

 

Who are you?
For you to be a success in this job, we expect you to have a relevant educational background on Master level and 3-5 years of experience, preferably from a comparable job in an international marketing department or digital agency. You have experience handling social media channels and PR involving stakeholders from multiple countries. You live and breathe the digital world, search for the latest social media trends, and take an interest in getting the right message through. You like to dig into analytics and know how to optimize the social media channels based on data. You are experienced in project management of digital projects involving stakeholders from multiple countries.

 

Furthermore, you are a good match if you have:

• Experience in social media and PR – 3-5 years
• Analytics and how to act on it
• Must have excellent communication skills in English
• Experienced in international and multi-site work environments
• FDA-issues related to highly regulated areas
• Flexible to travel (5-10 trips/year)
