In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics.

About the department
In Trial Operations, Obesity we are approximately 40 highly skilled and ambitious employees. We are responsible for the planning, execution and finalisation of clinical trial activities in phase 2-4 within the obesity portfolio. In Obesity we strive to understand the unmet needs related to obesity and to work closely together with the global obesity community.

We collaborate closely with other functional areas and our clinical colleagues worldwide. The position
As International Trial Manager, you will be responsible for timely planning, execution and finalisation of clinical trials in an ever-changing environment. You will in collaboration with your colleagues ensure delivery of trial management activities, such as protocols, risk based monitoring, vendor management and setting up different clinical IT systems.

Through clear communication and team work you will collaborate with the International Study Group to ensure delivery of trial activities and oversee coordination of deliverables from relevant stakeholders as well as keep track of trial risks and mitigation plans.

Working as a Trial Manager at Novo Nordisk headquarters is a unique chance to join the Trial Operations community consisting of approximately 200 trial managers. This makes plenty of room for learning, sparring and developing both personally and professionally.

The workplace is our office buildings in Søborg, Denmark. Some travel activity can be expected.

Qualifications
You hold a relevant degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Health Care or equivalent. Experience in trial management or working with clinical trials is highly preferred and past monitoring experience will be a benefit.

You have project management experience and an ability to balance quality with a drive to meet ambitious deadlines and get things done. You must have the drive and focus to meet challenging deadlines and know how to prioritise between different tasks in a dynamic environment.

You are a dedicated team player with a high degree of flexibility and change preparedness that inspires trust amongst colleagues and partners. Good presentation and communication skills as well as IT and data process knowledge are expected. Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
