Job Description

If so, you could be our new IT Auditor in the internal audit function at Danfoss. Danfoss Internal Audit works in a dynamic environment and adds value by providing independent assurance over the adequacy and effectiveness of the Group’s governance and internal control processes, through open communication, professionalism and trust.
 
The information security area is of vital strategic importance and great interest to Danfoss management, and internal audit plays a vital assurance role herein. You will participate in the essential phase of taking the information security audit to the next level, being a valued part of Danfoss’ risk and control organization and advisor to the operational organization of the group.
 
Planning, performing and reporting
As IT Auditor, you will play an active role in optimizing processes and procedures in IT. Reporting to Head of Internal Audit, you will be responsible for leading a wide variety of IT audits, including audit of IT controls which external auditors rely on. Your responsibility covers planning and performing of audits, reporting and follow-ups, and you will act as the link between the company – mainly the IT function – and the internal audit function. Your responsibilities include providing assurance over IT risks in both applications and infrastructure. At the same time, you will act as a sparring partner for the business with regards to, among other things, segregation of duties and application controls. You will also be responsible for developing relevant audit standards and procedures, and for contributing to quality improvements and improvement of audit practices.
 
In your role as IT Auditor, you will interact with changing teams and people in a challenging atmosphere. The internal audit team includes engaged Danfoss colleagues as well as outside consultants, whom you will advise and direct during the course of audits and in the planning and reporting phases, and you will make sure that all ends are eventually tied.
 
As a subject matter expert, you will actively share your knowledge and contribute to the development of Danfoss’ internal control environment. Depending on your skills and experience, you will provide support to both management and business areas throughout the organization. Here, you will take part in various control improvement projects. Minor travel activities (less than 20 days per year) must be expected.
 
Practical experience and a strong relation builder
You have a theoretical background topped with experience in executing IT audits – maybe a combination of financial and IT auditing experience (with some experience within IT-related risk management and cyber security being a must). Being able to understand and correlate complex IT issues with concise business impact will be crucial as will your strong understanding of the relationship between IT general controls/application controls and how they impact the control environment. Experience with working with SAP environments is an absolute plus.
 
You like to interact with many people at the same time, and you have the ability to serve on and manage multiple IT Audit engagements at a time. You also have the ability to easily adapt yourself to different cultures. You possess strong interpersonal communication and report writing skills which enables you to build and develop strong relationships, and to communicate your results in a clear and concise manner. You adapt and share your knowledge and best practice. Last, but not least, you possess the necessary drive in combination with a strong, fact-based approach to your tasks and the ability to perform in a changing and international working environment.
