Then you might be our new IT Business Manager in CMC Development. About the department

Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development is a part of Novo Nordisk (NN) Research & Development (R&D). CMC Development makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for non-clinical and clinical trials in more than 5,000 sites around the world. CMC Development employs ~1,200 people in pilot production plants, laboratories and offices. 

The role of CMC Business & IT Support is to provide operational support, develop processes and systems and lead business development projects across CMC Development. You will join a department of ~14 dedicated employees with diverse backgrounds and roles: Business Analysts, Specialists and Project Managers, covering both scientific as well as mercantile educations. Our mission is to support and develop CMC Development’s ability to progress Novo Nordisk’s ambitious R&D project pipeline. The job

With direct reference to the Director of CMC Business & IT Support, your will work as a strategic advisor to senior management and line of business and ensure coordination of relevant IT topics across the entire business area. Your main focus is to improve our IT infrastructure and systems with focus on data management, availability and functionality and to ensure buy in from line of business.

Being a senior colleague, the responsibility includes maturation of various initiatives, which will include development of business cases, analysis of current processes and recommendations for improvements.

Furthermore, you drive, plan and implement business related infrastructure and/or NN enabled initiatives across CMC Development. The scope of initiatives will range from implementation of IT systems, compliance initiatives, process alignment initiatives and anchoring of central Novo Nordisk projects. This will include a high level of cross-organisational collaboration within other units in NN. 

 

Qualifications

You have:

• a Master’s Degree within a relevant area (e.g. computer science, business administration, engineering or similar). Additional education and/or certification within IT and project management is preferable
• a minimum of 8 years of IT relevant experience e.g. within IT business consulting. Experience from the pharmaceutical industry
• In-depth knowledge and experience within IT – in general and specifically Subject Matter Expertise within IT Infrastructure

• are result-oriented, highly engaged and willing to walk the extra mile – when needed.

• master spoken and written English and ideally also Danish.
