Job Description

Danfoss Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Controls (RAC), R&D and Engineering is looking for a Lead Reliability Engineer in Nordborg/Kolding. Your role will be to lead divisional implementation and continuously improvement of reliability evaluations and processes. You will do that in mechanical, electrical and electronic new product development projects as well as for products in field. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders to create synergy between design, functionality and the reliability of our products. Your primary focus will be to influence the new product design early in the design process and to drive a reliability cockpit for products in the field as input for the new products. To achieve the new product reliability goals you need to be strong in effectively coaching of the teams and sharing  best practices. You can expect approximately 20 days of travel per year in this position.
 
As a person you are positive, open-minded and a good team player who interact and communicate well with people at all levels. You are persistent, and you have a strong technical knowhow and a logical mindset that you use in solving all problems.
 
Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you have a relevant Bachelor’s or similar education combined with a technical background, as well as:

• Min. 5 years’ experience with reliability assessments on mechanical and electrotechnical products
• Proven experience with product development and quality assurance
• Teaching or coaching skills
• Experience from working closely with laboratory or inspection center
• Experience with reliability software such as Minitap or Reliasoft
• TS16949/IAFT16949 experience
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI is an advantage
• Ability to read and understand drawings and technical documentation
• Experience with cross cultural teams in multiple locations
• Fluent and comprehensive in English
