For our Legal Department in Vejle, Denmark, we are looking for an experienced legal Contract Manager to handle contract activities for Offshore sales and project management support. You will be part of a competent team of legal counsels and contract managers located at our office in Vejle and at other locations in Denmark, Germany, the UK and other locations worldwide. The Legal Department plays a key role in our organization and is globally responsible for all contractual activities in the sales and proposals, implementation and supply chain processes. As a Contract Manager you will cooperate with Siemens’ entities worldwide and you will be responsible for contract matters in projects assigned to you. If you are already in a trainee attorney program, you will be able to obtain your practicing certificate while working for Siemens Wind Power A/S. What are my responsibilities? · Preparation and negotiation of terms and conditions during the negotiation phase of projects with our international customers · Preparation and handling of complex terms and conditions, mainly based on customers’ invitation to bid · Clarification and coordination with legal counsels, sales, project management, insurance and other specialist departments · Evaluation of contractual and commercial risk profile of proposals and presentation for approval to management The position will require national and international travelling. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a strong academic, legal background combined with relevant practical legal experience in international businesses or law firms · You have experience in structuring, preparation and negotiation of terms and conditions of different types of international project related contracts and structures · Knowledge of and experience with international plants and system contracts or construction contracts would be an asset · You are a skilled negotiator with strong assertiveness and persuasion skills · You have the ability to think through situations from an abstract conceptual perspective · You have a strong personality and the necessary gravitas to communicate at all organizational levels · You possess excellent English oral and drafting skills In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
