Secure high quality in future test set-ups As a manager specialist in the Model Competence Centre within our Design Lab, you coordinate and assist a team of engineers in testing LEGO® models and elements to secure excellent play experiences and the best quality in all our toys. Collaborating with our internal designers and engineers, we represent children globally and make sure that all new toys will be durable for play in different settings. Taking the lead on assignments and managing deliveries, you set the direction for the test team. Moreover, you act as a role model and go-to person, ensuring that our distinct LEGO DNA is implemented across our global development and production. Doing so, you create value by: Setting the direction for daily tasks and project deliveries within your team Identifying new opportunities to improve processes, guidelines and quality Facilitating innovation and improvement initiatives within testing Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation and translating test results and data into meaningful and actionable insights Building and strengthening quality testing of new materials Creativity and learning In Design Lab, we value improvement in everything we do. Technical specialist with leadership potential A key challenge for the future will be to maintain our high quality standards while increasing production. To contribute, you combine a technical eye for analysing material - and setting up the right parameters for creating valuable insight - with strong stakeholder management skills. Doing so, you enjoy collaborating across cultures and functions, combining your specialist knowledge with an empathetic and open mind-set. Moreover: You have an engineering or design background, providing you with experience within testing and data handling Preferably, you have some management or leadership experience – as a minimum, you are motivated to take on an informal leadership role You are an experienced facilitator with great communication skills, and you speak and write English fluently Previous experience from within the LEGO Group will be considered an advantage Bringing it to life "A great asset in this role is your ability to see toys and elements from a child’s perspective. Will it work with their tiny fingers? Can they play with it on the kitchen floor? And is it durable to create joy - over and over again?
