Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across functions As Material Project Manager, you coordinate projects using project management disciplines and cross-functional team leadership to facilitate changes across material test platforms. In close collaboration with our Material Specialists, our Moulding team and the Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) department, you develop our Material test platform - from definition of needs and methodologies to implementation across our test element moulding and test laboratories. Thus, you will play an important role in the combined efforts towards implementing our corporate sustainability agenda, as you: Manage projects and cross-functional teams that: develop and implement new test models, methods, standards and technologies in order to meet changing needs for material qualification and secure high quality test data and documentation Make lab test priorities and plans based on material platform activities, projects and customer needs Maintain technology plans for lab areas Drive communication of lab platform activities and findings in a clear and visual manner Support our sustainability agenda The LEGO Group has made a promise to develop and improve our materials so they continue to live up to the highest quality and environmental standards. Innovative and creative engineer In this position, you will be challenged on your ability to communicate across organisational levels and functional teams, building relationship and managing technical partnerships. Your personal interests in our sustainability agenda and innovative approach will make you a valued collaborator. We imagine that you have previously worked with engineering or lab practises e.g. in a manufacturing company, where you have developed a deep understanding of processes and value chains. To succeed in this role, you have: A Master's degree or a Ph.D. in e.g. Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering combined with practical experience within R&D project management Deep technical understanding of polymer materials, engineering and moulding processes Experience with execution and development of lab methods and capabilities Strong project management expertise - from e.g. planning and resource management, stakeholder management and communication, risk management as well as reporting on project milestones and KPIs Great collaboration and communication skills, and you speak and write English fluently Bringing it to life 'You will step into a dynamic environment on our journey towards sustainability.
