Do you have a fascination of critical care and medical devices? Then Radiometer is the perfect destination for you to expand and share clinical knowledge internally and with external experts. 

We are strengthening our medical, clinical and scientific footprint within Immunoassay. We need your expertise and knowledge to drive medical, clinical and scientific initiatives including creation of clinical content, driving of and establishing relevant cooperation with experts inside Radiometer as well as key external experts in hospitals worldwide. Your capability and ambition is needed for both customer-facing initiatives and for our future clinical tools.

 

You initiate, drive and collaborate regarding clinical activities

You will join a team of seven other medical and scientific experts in our Medical Affairs department in the Radiometer headquarters in Copenhagen. Being located in the HQ has several advantages as this gives you access to important collaboration partners in R&D, Marketing and Regulatory Affairs to name a few. The culture for knowledge sharing is well-established and we have a down-to-earth way of communicating cross-functionally.

Expect a steep learning curve through a comprehensive onboarding program introducing you to our products, markets and customers. As our Medical Advisor, you contribute to and drive clinical initiatives with R&D, our sales/marketing organization and customers with relevant and actionable clinical evidence and tools. In addition, we expect you to define and drive new initiatives that can further strengthen our clinical footprint in the marketplace.

We look to you to challenge our communication methods and bring new ideas and initiatives to the table. With this position, every day is different as you take part in our versatile project portfolio to impact the millions of patients, who get diagnosed with help from Radiometer’s medical devices across the globe.

 

Your responsibilities include:

• Proactively develop scientific proof sources concerning the clinical use of our Immunoassay products

• Defining and driving new initiatives that can further strengthen our medical, clinical and scientific footprint in the marketplace including development of future products and services from Radiometer

• Establishing relations to health care professionals and key external experts worldwide, including initiating and contributing to studies

• Giving presentations to an external and internal audience, attending and contributing to advisory boards

 

The job requires travelling between 20 to 40 days a year to attend congresses, customer meeting etc. thereby building a strong professional expertise in the relevant clinical fields.

Qualifications 

Medical doctor with commercial knowledge

You have a background as medical doctor, and since we are maneuvering in an environment with a growing legal and regulatory complexity, your subject matter expertise is of great importance. Thus, we expect you to possess experience with the acute and critically ill patients, the clinical use of the parameters on the Immunoassay platform.

• You master effective communication in English both verbally and in writing

• You have a commercial mindset, and focus on delivering value to marketing and sales projects

• You enjoy strategic thinking and considering how our actions in Medical Affairs can impact our complex business

• You are dedicated to making a real difference in millions of lives and you are able to make quick decisions when it matters

• You are experienced with giving presentations to peers and laymen
