Join us and become Oil Sales Representative – Trader / Operator in DONG E&P Oil Sales, which is responsible for all marketing, trading and operation of liquid hydrocarbons in DONG Exploration & Production. You will sell LPG based on your market evaluation, logistical set-up and sales strategy for LPG produced at the Hejre field – one of the largest investments in Denmark. The department is a part of Exploration & Production which has 700 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We explore for and produce oil and natural gas. Today, our activities are centred in the seas off Denmark, Norway and the United Kingdom, and we have an ambitious growth strategy with many exciting projects in the pipeline. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility Your primary task will be to manage our sale and operation of LPG from the Danish, Norwegian and English sector together with the Oil Sales Manager. Based on our existing production and sales portfolio you are to prepare, optimise and initiate the set-up for the production from the Danish Hejre field that will increase our presence in the LPG market. This will incorporate tasks related to market research, logistics, operational and contractual set-up, sales strategy, contracts and establishment of customer relationships to internal and external parties. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •handle internal communication and documentation for transactions and contract settlements •be responsible for optimising existing LPG contracts •handle various operational and administrative tasks related to the sales activities •develop customer relations to relevant current and potential LPG and Crude customers. As part of a small, but specialised team you will experience a high variety of tasks and have the ability to have an overview of the entire flow of hydrocarbons from when the hydrocarbons are in the tank until payment is received from the customer. Your profile You have a commercial education or a degree in shipping or another relevant technical discipline and some experience with the oil business and/or handling of large customer accounts. You master or are keen to master several of the following areas: shipping, contracts, customer relations, oil sales, operation and chemistry. It is important that you thrive in a job with many different complex tasks, but always have value creation and our customers in mind. The job entails a combination of short-term tasks and long project work – for both areas it is important that you are able to plan, document and take action. You are able to handle several tasks simultaneously without losing perspective. Added to this, you excel in creating results through teamwork and developing good relationships with your colleagues and external business partners. As Oil Sales is based on long-term relations, a candidate with strong personal relationship building capacity, the ability to develop expertise and make decisions is preferred for the position.
