About the department Corporate Financial Planning is responsible for financial planning, analysis and reporting to Senior and Executive Management at Novo Nordisk. We are a young, dynamic and ambitious department consisting of 45 employees divided into five teams - R&D Finance, Staffs Finance, Operations Finance, Corp. Controlling & Strategic Finance as well as Risk Office - supporting decision-making in different areas of the organisation. Our overall aim is to create value and have business impact through finance partnering to our stakeholders by combining strong financial competencies with a solid understanding of the business in which we operate. Our vision is to be the best financial planning operation in the global pharma industry. The position As an intern you will be anchored in one of our five teams based on best mutual fit. You will participate in financial planning, analysis and reporting in collaboration with experienced business analysts. Furthermore, you will assist in preparing decision support material and ad-hoc analyses for key stakeholders. You can expect to experience a steep learning curve, while working in an international environment and gaining a strong business understanding across Novo Nordisk’s value chain. The internship is a full-time position, but we are open to offer some flexibility to accommodate studies or writing your master thesis while working here. Internship Period: 4-6 months, preferably full-time (37 hours per week). Start date: August or latest 1st September 2016 Qualifications You are currently a master degree student in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar and take an interest in financial planning and analysis. You are among the best in your class, have strong analytical skills, good interpersonal skills and you are fluent in English both written and spoken. We expect candidates to be proactive, thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude. Finally, you must have a strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning. Your development is important to us. As an intern in Corporate Financial Planning you will be assigned a mentor who will oversee your development. Additionally, training and personal development plans are key tools to ensure your tasks continue to challenge you while developing or sharpening your financial toolbox.
