We are looking for a PLM architect for the Wind after market business. You will engage across Vestas' value chain taking lead on applying IT to Product information management covering product configuration, material management, engineering change incl. phase in and out. You will join Business Engagement, Solutions & Services which is part of Vestas’ global IT organisation, Global IT. We act as advisors to the business establishing and accelerating business strategy implementation and enable business development powered by IT. The department bridges business and IT by driving alignment of IT and business. Together with key stakeholders in business & IT we deliver roadmaps and solution designs to prepare and plan project execution. This position is in the PLM, Supply Chain and Manufacturing team. We are a strong team of 10 experienced IT architects. Our team act first point of contact for business regarding Product Development, Forecasting & Planning, Sourcing, Quality, Spare Parts, Warehousing & Logistics and Production execution Responsibilities: Together with the Senior PLM architect you will drive the integration of business and IT planning, managing and shaping demands. As PLM architect you will transform business requirements into primarily SAP and PTC based solutions. You will help prepare the world leader in wind for the growth opportunities on the horizon by securing high quality in all areas for our customers and turn on the lights for millions of people in a sustainable way. You will act as a single point of reference for business process leaders for aligning business demands and IT. Some of your tasks will be: Lead optimal solution architecture in PLM projects Inspire business on how to get value from IT Build and develop roadmaps Enhance our PDMLink Service Engineering Qualifications: You have the following background and competencies: Educational background as Product Engineer, Master of IT or similar education Knowledge and experience of SAP ECC and preferably PDMLink +5 years of experience from a similar position as architect or business consultant Proven ability to manage and handle IT demands and stakeholder engagement Analytical, structured and open minded Strong communicator and decision maker Excellent interpersonal skills Additional information: Primary work location will be in Aarhus (DK).
