Join us to impact and continuously improve our monthly demand planning processes as a go-to specialist. You become part of the Demand Planning team, where we operate the global demand planning process in the Grundfos Group. We are 4 colleagues who collect the sales forecasts from the Grundfos sales companies on a monthly basis and consolidate them in one forecast for the organisation. You refer to Department Head, Demand Planning, Anne Marie Ladefoged. ”People rely on the work we do to plan for the future. So, our role in the entire planning and production process is incredibly important,” Anne Marie explains. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? As a process consultant, your work is instrumental in contributing to the monthly demand plan, which is used by Group Management as an important decision-making tool. Most of your time will be spent on process improvement projects to continuously increase demand plan accuracy in our sales companies. One aim is to help our sales companies run a healthy business, and the more accurate our forecasts are, the better we are at supporting them. Also, you act as a super user of our demand planning system, where you work in depth to carry out continuous development on demand planning. This includes investigating, describing and recommending solutions to improve the process and system, and acting as the link between the Demand Planning team and the Grundfos IS organisation regarding APO-DP. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? Most likely, you have a degree in supply chain or logistics, and your analytical mind set and desire to work with demand planning processes is your main catalyst. You must have strong Excel and general IT skills. You probably have experience with demand planning systems, preferably SAP APO-DP. Moreover, you speak and write English fluently, and Danish is a definite plus. “Approximately 25% of your time will be spent digging deep into our systems and working with tight hourly deadlines. So, to truly thrive in this position, your mind set is key. You thrive in an independent position with extremely short deadlines, where you can take on a super user role. And you are proud to admit it – you are a perfectionist,” says Anne Marie.
