Product Documentation Coordinator

About the position

As a Product Documentation Coordinator, you will have a key role in supporting the wind turbine projects in assuring and compiling the contractor supplied documentation for the best performing offshore wind turbines in the market.
 

About the role

When starting in this position you will be responsible for scoping, planning, and executing on product documentation assignments for new product developments, to ensure that agreed deliverables will be available according to the agreed timelines. In other words, you will act as the “bridge” between R&D activities, Product Portfolio Management department, and Sales and Project Execution departments.

You will also be working with process improvements, monthly internal reporting, proactive follow-ups, coordination and communication with project team members and various governance tasks as well as key stakeholder alignment regarding different planning deliverables.

 

Your responsibilities and tasks will include:

• Drive the R&D documentation domain for new product developments
• Plan and coordinate project deliverables to ensure timely completion
• Continuous interaction with designers and understanding the project deliverables for documentation
• Act as contact point for Technical Designers in execution of documentation activities
• Drive sprint meetings to ensure progress in documentation deliverables  
• Coordinating with the project team to accelerate tasks and resolve potential problems
• Manage product documentation for new product developments including collecting and quality review of the documentation
• Drive hand-over activities towards Operational Engineering
• Act as interface to our technical writers making sure that they have the needed information to create and write manuals

 

When needed we will provide you with the necessary training to ensure that you are fully capable of performing the tasks and to support your continuous learning and development. 
 

About you

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in projects and preferable also with documentation and has experience from planning and control environments.

You have working experience from an international environment and have excellent English skills, both orally and in writing. You can maintain the overview in complex working environments demonstrated through the ability to plan and prioritize. You are an experienced user of Microsoft Office applications

In this role it is a must that you have strong interpersonal skills as you will interact and work with people across the organization. You are proactive with a detail and process-oriented mindset. Moreover, you have a responsible approach to your work, taking ownership for what you do and you are willing and capable of taking on additional responsibilities
