Milestone systems is hiring a product manager to support our business strategy in creating desirability for our product and technology platform for the market and developer community.  

As our Product Manager for our software solution you will be responsible for initiating and developing new products. You will play a vital role in defining market needs and technology opportunities and plan to release world-class products. Together with other Product Managers - the role is focusing on driving our development for our solutions, contributing to our product roadmap, product life cycle management, development prioritizations based on Product strategy.   

In Milestone systems, we work Agile closely with Sr. Product Managers and Product Owners in R&D on EPICs, contributing to the current and future success of Milestone Systems.  

Responsibilities: 

• Carry out product strategy with your relentless focus on providing the right product at the right time and in the right manner. 
• Own the successful delivery of product initiatives, execution, and releases 
• Define, document, and communicate objectives, requirements and constraints for product initiatives and releases 
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to iterate product requirements based on constraints during implementation as well as insights and feedback from customers  
• Perform market research and analysis 
• Travel 15+ days visiting customers and attending conferences 

Qualifications and skills: 

• 3-5 years of Product Management experiences from an international high-tech company, with a proven track record of managing all aspects of product life cycle   
• Education at Master level and/or experience within both the commercial and technical field 
• You understand all the elements of the product management discipline, including market and customer needs definition, requirements specifications, value proposition, prioritizations and product lifecycle management.  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
• An analytical mindset combined with business acumen 
• Strong interpersonal skills and adds to excellent team work by proactively to take up challenges to move forward.  
• You can brainstorm with product marketing, present to and engage sales people and external partners, and discuss your product at all levels of technical knowledge, from the customer’s technical experts to the very non-technical end-user.   
• Innovative – not afraid to challenge the status quo 
• Experienced in agile methods and strong problem-solving skills 
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization 
• Experience in the IT, preferably in video security and surveillance 
• Experience with value propositions
