Job Description

Danfoss – Heating Heat Exchanger is looking for a Product Portfolio Manager preferable in Kolding, Denmark. You will become part of a truly global team consisting of dedicated and enthusiastic professionals. Your main areas of responsibilities will be product portfolio roadmap, product life cycle management and most importantly product expertise, serving as product and application expert for own product group to customers and sales and other stakeholders. Your key tasks include continuous development of Gasketed & Semi-welded heat exchanger portfolio, new product development  and product improvement projects, life cycle management and not least direct support to selected customers. Working with colleagues across functions and locations is key in achieving this successfully. You can expect up to 30% travel activities per year in this position, so you need to be willing to travel frequently. As a person, you are self-driven and able to say no and stay with this decision under pressure. You are analytical and a strong team player who can interact and communicate well with others across borders and cultures.
 
Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you must have a Master’s or a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical) combined with commercial and technical experience as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Min. 3 years of experience in sales, project or product management
• Knowledge from heat exchangers, heating & cooling systems or preferable Industrial applications (Ammonia, petrochemical, marine, food & beverage etc)
• Understanding the full value chain of a product from development to sales
• Customer focus as part of your backbone
• Fluency in written and spoken English
