Do you want to work with excellent project management to drive improved business performance in Vestas Manufacturing and Global Procurement?
We are looking for a PMO Professional with a keen interest in project management methods, best practices and project execution in a complex corporate environment.

Blades > Blade Launch & Execution > COO Project Management Office
The COO Project Management Office is a fast moving, international team that has a mission of building and developing Vestas' global manufacturing footprint. We are a team of 30 project managers and PMO specialists located around the world, dedicated to building best practices in project and portfolio management and delivering safe and reliable project results. 

Responsibilties

• Support the development of improvement initiatives in the areas of project excellence and portfolio management
• Support COO project managers in the use of the PMO toolbox for high quality project execution
• Coordinate new project origination and business process development across the Vestas value chain
• Train project managers and business stakeholders on PMO tools and best practices
• Full ownership of specific initiatives within the PMO service catalog
• Proactively identifying opportunities for PMO development, and participating in PMO strategy sessions to mature the level of project execution and portfolio management
• Working with project managers and participating in workshops with project teams and line management to ensure the effective application of the PMO toolbox and adherence to project management best practices
• Ensure thorough estimation and planning of resources across the organisation with regard to project deliverables and plans

Qualifications

• We expect you to have a relevant Bachelor or Master's degree focusing on Project Management.
• 0-3 years of relevant working experience with PMO development.
• Certification with PRINCE2 Foundation or IPMA D. PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP preferred.

Competencies
We expect you to have insight into the following areas: 

• Organising project portfolios in a complex corporate environment
• How to train project leaders and organisations to excel in project execution
• Strong communication and presentation Skills
• Experience with PRINCE2 Foundation or IPMA D, PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP is preferred
• Project planning monitoring and control methodologies and best practices
• Steerco training and project governance

Additional information
Your primary work location will be Hammel, Denmark. Expected travelling around 40 days per year.
