Danfoss is growing and we are looking for a Project Manager who will be working in the Hydronic Balancing and Control unit in Danfoss Heating Solutions division, characterized by entrepreneurial spirit, impressive results and ambitious global growth perspectives. Our mission is to develop, produce and supply products and solutions that contribute to reduced energy consumption and improved indoor comfort by creating the best possible balance and control in water based heating, cooling and hot water systems, in commercial and residential buildings. Reporting to the Project Office Manager located in Ljubljana, Slovenia, the Project Manager will become a part of an excellent international network of competent people, have global contacts inside and outside the company and wide opportunities of professional and personal development. The person will be responsible for the management of product development projects from business proposal to product launch and stabile operation. He/she will lead multifunctional global teams focusing on timely project completion within planned cost and defined project scope. The main responsibility will also be an integration of business, technical and operational aspects within the project execution. If you take our challenge your key tasks will be to: •Conduct completion of project scope, goals and deliverables •Facilitate project budgeting and planning •Provide direction, motivation and support to project team and facilitate cross functional mindset •Manage project milestone deliverables according to Danfoss Milestone Plan and risk management in all project stages •Balance between customer requirements and feasible technical solutions •Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders •Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve quality of project outputs The ideal person holds a (minimum) Bachelor’s degree with technical background and/or MSc qualification in project management, has at least 5 years of experiences in managing cross-functional teams and practical experience in product development projects. He/she is willing to travel and has fluent knowledge of English language. Ideally (an advantage) you hold knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management and a project management certificate. You have personal integrity in all interactions, strong leadership competencies, you are target oriented and eager to networking. Stakeholders in the project find you responsive in communication, structured in problem solving, good in conflict management, flexible and has high level of empathy and stress tolerance.
