Are you looking for a challenging position where you can exert your outstanding stakeholder management skills and commercial flair? Then join us as Regional Cement Portfolio Manager in FLSmidth Europe, North Africa, Russia & CIS region (ENAR), where you will be based in our headquarters in Valby, Copenhagen.

 

About the role

You will collaborate with a complex stakeholder environment within our Cement Industry Product Units, Digital Product Unit as well as Plant Upgrades and full flowsheet Project organization.

You will be building up processes and setting up reporting for the portfolios, securing their revenue, contribution and networking capital. At the same time, you will also execute your own portfolio of retrofit projects. With time your department may be extended with more project managers and it will be your job to manage and develop these. You can anticipate limited travel activity of 20-40 days per year.

 

About the department

You will be part of the ENAR Project Management and Order Execution Management team, in a recently established regional set up. As the Department is new and under development you will have a unique chance to influence and establish the way of working going forward.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Portfolio management projects across the region, supported by our Cement Industry organization.
  • Ensuring professional project and contract management execution according to governance models and best practices. Hereunder to secure meeting budgets, managing claims, project risks, execution schedule, scope and work breakdown, procedures and instructions.
  • Ensuring revenue, NWC and business results on the portfolio of projects in the Region.
  • Coaching, mentoring and guidance of project managers.

 

You will have:

  • An educational background of mechanical, electrical, chemical engineer or other relevant background.
  • Intensive experience as a project manager with excellent stakeholder management skills.  
  • Minimum 10 years of experience from working in a large international company.
  • Commercial mind-set and experience in budget control.
  • Power to influence, using your strong negotiation and communication skills.
