Would you like to be part of the team who manages DONG Energy’s financial market risks? Join us and become Risk Analyst in Treasury Risk Management (TRM) which is responsible for managing DONG Energy’s currency and interest rate risk. TRM is a part of the Group Treasury & Risk Management department in DONG Energy, which manages the group’s energy and financial market risks, treasury operations and investor relations. The department is part of our Group functions which cover Group Support, Group Finance & Services and Group IT. In Group Treasury & Risk Management department, we focus our efforts on supporting the entire business and contributes to the group’s strategic goals by managing our substantial market and credit exposures efficiently. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. Areas of responsibility Your primary focus will be to participate in managing and developing the currency risk management processes, whereby currency exposures are transferred from the business units and group functions to the central Treasury Risk Management books, where the exposures are aggregated, netted, reported and traded in the market, ensuring positions are kept within agreed risk limits. DONG Energy’s currency risk picture is highly complex due to correlations and interdependencies between the energy price risk and currency risk. Our treasury system landscape consists of Bloomberg, Reuters, a treasury management system (Sungard Quantum), currently undergoing a major upgrade, an internally developed data warehouse and an internal bank in SAP. Our main analysis and reporting tools are SQL, VBA and Excel. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •maintain an updated risk exposure picture from the business units •perform risk reporting to internal and external stakeholders •perform scenario analyses of market risks and exposures •contribute to interest rate risk management and improve and develop risk reporting solutions •establish and update documentation of risk governance processes •conduct daily deal approvals and limit controls in our treasury management system. Your profile Preferably, you have a master's degree in economics, business administration or accounting or a similar academic background with focus on economics, finance and quantitative analysis. You are interested in financial markets, derivatives and treasury operations. You have a few years of experience from risk management or financial reporting or perhaps you are in a financial accounting function working with hedge accounting and have a wish to switch to financial risk management. We are looking for a results-oriented candidate with an analytical mind-set and excellent IT skills, who has the ability to find and communicate the story behind the numbers.
