Global IT/ Manufacturing & Supply/ Sourcing, Logistics & Warehousing The Sourcing, Logistics, and Warehousing department in Vestas Global IT engage with business stakeholders to ensure that business services and related solutions are appropriately designed, developed and optimized across their lifecycle and that the IT offerings are safeguarded. When development is handled by externals we interact with these external partners on development activities and related governance to ensure quality in the delivery. We ensure continuous improvement and maximized utilization of applications in order to optimize value and reduce risk. Responsibilities: Your responsibility will be to ensure that SAP MM, SD, and LE solutions continuously meet business requirements by proactive and reactive development and testing of application changes. You will engage with business process experts to develop IT solution concepts and services with focus on usability and end-user experience. Design and development of SAP supply chain solutions is executed by means of in-house capabilities in combination with externally sourced services. In this connection your role also includes securing templates for global roll-outs and coordination and team leader tasks in connection to projects. In the role as functional specialist you need to provide a consistent body of knowledge for evaluation of new opportunities and application design by means of: Communicating with Vestas end-users and other stakeholders to ensure successful execution of developments Governing all development and support activities to protect the integrity of the applications and services Elimination of conflicts between smaller application changes and larger projects Ensuring optimal utilization of technical best practices Ensuring consistency and reuse of solutions by utilizing global standard solution designs Ensuring existence and quality of documentation Contributing to drive down cost of ownership on operation and maintenance Providing knowledge and expertise for business consultancy tasks Qualifications: Master in IT, Business Administration, or similar experience is needed. Minimum 5 years' experience in similar position. Competencies: Specialist skills in SAP MM, SD, LE and/or related SAP applications. High level of technical skills. Broad knowledge on SAP systems and application components. High level of coordination, cooperation, and collaboration skills.
