We are seeking a knowledgeable, talented, and industrious scrum master/DevOps coach who will coordinate across several IT teams to deliver product/releases in the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) area for our new vessel platform. The ideal candidate for the position speaks Agile and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), is grown up in a DevOps environment, knows how to get the job done through teams and can drive our ongoing transition to Agile and DevOps. 

Perhaps you are a DevOps engineer gone Scrum master, perhaps the other way around or perhaps something entirely different. The job will be based in Copenhagen and be part of our Vessel & Asset IT Portfolio Group, in Maersk Line. Some travel activity can be expected.

Key responsibilities

Functional
•Assess the agile maturity of the team and organization and coach to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization as to;
How to use Agile/Scrum practices 
How to get the most out of our self-organization
Self-organize to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks
•Co-ordinate work from Requirements through to Delivery in an Agile/DevOps environment
•Co-ordinate development across technical teams to deliver cohesive product up-dates/enhancements
•Co-ordinate with QA to ensure quality is always a priority
•Assist the Product Owner in prioritizing requirements, scoping deliverables, timelines for delivery and setting business expectations. 
•Assist the Product Owner in prioritizing planned and unplanned (eg., operational issues) work items for delivery 
•Act as environment manager for all PROD, non-PROD (dev, test, etc.) environments and ensure that they have clearly documented lifecycle plans. 
•Act as release manager for all PROD, non-PROD (dev, test, etc.) environments and ensure that they are maintained as per agreed lifecycle plans. 
•Orchestrate the interface to the IT service management organization of the wider company
•Remove impediments or guide team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to re-move the impediment.
•Drive a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
•Facilitate getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
•Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
•Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency

We are looking for

•Well educated DevOps engineer – either by formal training or school of life
•Experience co-ordinating of one or more DevOps teams
•Experience in Infrastructure support/development, especially IaC
•Experience in making DevOps function at enterprise scale, hereunder interfacing to the IT service management of the organization
•Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership leadership philosophy, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency-cy
•Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
•Working with multiple teams, e.g. through SAFe or similar
•Ability to perform well under pressure
•Experience in Maritime/industrial setting an advantage
