We offer
Reporting to the Head of Operations Operating Model, the Senior Business Architect scope spans across Maersk Transport and Logistics Operations.
You will engage with business stakeholders across the T&L organisation to business model our future state, current state and the required transition state business architectures to drive strategically aligned changes and investment planning. The articulation of all these states will facilitate conversations and decisions around strategic choices for executing T&L business strategy, giving clear direction for staged adjustments in processes and enabling information systems, data management and organisation.
Key responsibilities
• Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to develop and document our Business Reference Architecture.
• Responsible for the modelling of end-to-end business landscape across multiple dimensions, for example: Customer Journeys and Business Capabilities to describe our current, future and transition state architectures.
• Identify, drive and define staged phases of operational change – incl. cost, complexity and assessment of implications for change and run.
• To-Be Operating Model (TOM) – Drive the alignment of motivation and performance through development of performance indicators which support our integration strategy, and deliver customer value.
• Facilitate the maturity assessment of current capabilities, and identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Creation and maintenance of transition states in a rolling 3-5 year roadmap, incl. target performance indicators.
• Participate in scoping phase of major change initiatives, to ensure alignment with desired transition states and business outcomes
• Secure compliance with future business visions through development and implementation of relevant policies and standards into the process landscape.
• Contribute to the Technology Enterprise Architecture Governance model.
We are looking for
• Experience in enterprise level architecture and design, with a clear understanding of all business architecture frameworks and techniques.
• Demonstrate management consultant level design-thinking experience and approach to facilitate structured business needs analysis.
• Pragmatic self-starter, able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Excellent facilitation skills – ability to structure, conduct and deliver outcomes for workshops and multi-stakeholder meetings.
• Confident and clear communicator in English, written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex topics into understandable terms.
• Coach, mentor and collaborate with peers to achieve successful outcomes, and embed sustainable capabilities in others.
• Understanding of the shipping industry is an advantage, and/or a background working in an engineering, supply chain or airline operations company.
• Innovative mindset, with a passion for transforming Maersk into the global integrator of container logistics – connecting and simplifying our Customers’ supply chain.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to bring people and teams together collaborating towards a common goal.
