Thousands of active online Medical Devices and a busy data-driven production are just a few of the sources generating large amounts of real world data. We know this data can be leveraged to help our customers in the hospitals and ultimately millions of patients. You can look forward to using your technical skills within data analytics and machine learning to generate insights that will define the future path of Radiometer.
You will be part of our Innovation & New technology team – that is leading the discovery of new product opportunities and business-areas.

Step 1: Set up the architecture and start Data Mining 

You report to Senior Director, Innovation & New Technologies, Jakob Skriver. Expect to embark on a long term adventure where you develop our strategy to create Predictive Analysis for our Medical Devices. In the short term, however, we expect you to start working with the data that we have available to create architecture and use your hands-on data mining skills to create short term wins.  Before you know it, you might be able to help us predict 6 months in advance when our active devices need technical service. 

 
Step 2: Drive the steering committee 

Expect to participate in exciting discussions when you engage with your professional and experienced peers in steering committee meetings. They represent a lot of expertize and know-how that enables you together with them to shape the future of how we work with data in areas such as Research & Development, Service and Production. 

Step 3: Build the business case for Data Science, AI and Machine Learning

We all know the potential is there and after a few successful projects we expect that you can take the lead in helping us build a strong Data Science team with you as the manager. While you are located at our HQ in Copenhagen the team might expand with members in Copenhagen or at our Development Center in Bangalore, India.

Your responsibilities in short

• Establish architecture for data analytics and Machine Learning of existing data

• Drive initial analysis based on existing data 

• Establish an internal “advisor” team that can help guide the data studies conducted

• Drive innovative new ideas based of insights, findings and general trends within the field of AI, ML, Big data etc. 

• Create a clear strategy and roadmap for how to turn Radiometers data into a competitive advantage
