Manufacturing and Global Sourcing, Controller Factory Hammel Vestas Controls is a production unit that produces and supplies electrical components and modules to other factories within Vestas. It is the mission of Controller Factory Hammel to ensure on-time delivery of controller components/modules with World Class robustness and reliability through a safe and motivating work-environment. Responsibilities: The main responsibility for the Senior Production Manager is to ensure that the production department produces according to specifications and the released orders and deliver performance in line with KPI targets. This includes: Transform factory strategies into project and improvement activities, e.g. process in control – from craftsmanship to industry Compliance with the Way-to-Market stage gate model Manufacturing excellence - e.g. Lean toolbox Manage, lead and develop direct reports based on Vestas Leadership Model Qualifications: Relevant engineering degree Minimum 5-10 years’ experience from a production People management experience from a production Competencies: Ability to communicate, and to lead and motivate people Strong presentation and project management skills Excellent business understanding and well-developed interpersonal skills Good Danish and English skills - both in speaking and in writing What we offer: This position offers excellent opportunities for cross disciplinary and personal development by working with general transport in a large global organization having highly specialized and professional colleagues.
