Manufacturing and Supply Chain Technologies (MST) within the Business Technology (IT) organization, are 100 dedicated LEGO® employees located in Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary and Singapore. We deliver end to end services and digital solutions to enable efficient and excellent business processes. Together with our Development Center partners, we deploy technology to enable LEGO Operations within the areas of Manufacturing Execution, Warehouse & Distribution, Quality & Materials, Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management, Demand Planning and Supply Planning & Distribution.
As our new Solution Architect, you have a strong professional background that enable you to set direction via strategic technology roadmaps, scan technologies, create and test prototypes, as well as produce innovative solutions that creates long-term value for the Manufacturing and Supply Chain area. Thus, this is a role where you will collaborate across functions and levels as you will be the direct link between IT, the business and our senior leadership team.
We inspire an agile mindset and relentlessly strive to work by agile methodologies. You will step into the global MST leadership team, consisting of twelve people. As part of the leadership team, you contribute significantly to set direction and develop the global Manufacturing & Supply Chain Technologies organization to meet current and future challenges. You report to the Vice President of Manufacturing & Supply Chain Technologies.

Concepts like decoupling enterprise platforms with micro services, cloud first/mobile first and open system architectures are native to you. Your mindset is rooted in a digital approach to delivering value and you solve problems with an end-to-end perspective. You go for simplicity in solutions and you are used to focus on minimal viable products that significantly reduce the time from idea to business value delivered.
Solid technology understanding and technology leadership experience
We expect you:
• are curious and experimenting.
• have an academic degree in IT.
• have 5-10 years’ experience from a similar role, preferably in a global organization, with documented results.
• have a supreme, documented understanding of technology and agile methodologies.
• have solid experience, working with enterprise platforms like SAP, JDA, Siemens Teamcenter and digital platforms like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and API management platforms.
• have formulated IT Strategies and roadmaps, including actual delivery of results and business outcomes.
• can easily translate technology lingo and create strong relations across business units which naturally makes you a trusted advisor and go-to-person.
• are comfortable engaging with senior leaders on corporate level.
• speak and write English fluently.
To succeed in this role, it is important that you are a team player with a strong degree of empathy while still being able to work autonomously. As a person, you are extrovert and build strong relationships with peers and stakeholders and create trust through open dialogue and by delivering results - on all levels of the organisation.
The position is based in Billund (Denmark). MST has a global span, so you should expect 20-35 travelling days per year.
