Hvad tilbyder vi? This is your opportunity to use your expertise in strengthening the Service business in Grundfos. Join one of our must-win-battles - a focus area in our strategy - and play a significant role in taking our service offerings to new levels. You become part of the Group Service department – a department consisting of 16 Service professionals with the majority of the team working out of the Bjerringbro office in Denmark. You will form a small team together with 2 product specialists, responsible for developing and managing a service product portfolio with offerings deeply anchored in customer needs. Our service offerings have a global reach into our sales/service regions, so you will work closely with our technical service specialists across pump/application segments and our regional service teams. You refer to Director, Service Programme, Group Service, Torben Takle-Jensen. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? The overall purpose of your role, which is new in the organization, is to manage the global portfolio of Grundfos service offerings which includes all non-spare part service offerings. Currently, these service offerings are divided into 5 key areas; repair & maintenance, installation & operation, surveillance & mobility and optimisation & consultancy. The portfolio is expected to develop even more towards digital solutions incl. remote monitoring, diagnostics, predictive maintenance etc. in the years to come. You assume responsibility for the overall service product management cycle from concept phase to end-of-life and phase-out. This entails handling product specifications, internal promotion, launch and making sure our sales and service teams have access to the global service offerings via the sales and service management systems (SAP). The vast majority of our service offerings are geared towards the professional end-user market within Water Utility, Industry and Commercial Building Services. “Your challenge will be to manage a portfolio of service offerings which apply across 60 different countries. Because even though we have a global portfolio, we also have many local service offerings, so we are looking to simplify, streamline, eliminate overlaps and create a manageable portfolio of high-quality service offerings for our customers worldwide.” Torben says Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. or an MBA in Engineering combined with a commercial education or relevant commercial experience from a service business. Alternatively, you have a degree in business/economics combined with a technical education or relevant experience with product management, preferably from a service organization. Or maybe you have a few years of experience with business-to-business service product management from other industries. Previous experience from the pump industry is an advantage. You speak and write English fluently and are able to travel 15-20 days per year. “On a personal level, you are a team player who enjoys working with many stakeholders in a global organization. You have great communication skills, a commercial mind-set and always keep our customers’ needs firmly in mind. Finally, you are able to think constructively and out of the box to develop great new service offerings – while being structured enough to manage our existing portfolio,” Torben finishes.
