Responsibilities

The focus of the Solutions Strategy Manager’s (SSSM’s) role is to help build a healthy, predictable Sales business by executing demand generation activities to grow quality pipeline coverage which is aligned to Services Go To Market (GTM) Solution and Industry Priorities. The TBE SSSM leads Services GTM execution for the Territory Based Engagement (TBE) motion.

 

Key accountabilities: 

• Plan and execute as One Microsoft: Lead local activities required to plan and execute Worldwide Solution Area and Support Sales Campaigns, working closely with Services Sales Managers and Sellers and partnering with local Marketing and Operations (M&O), the Specialist Team Unit (STU) and Product Groups to drive aligned execution.
• Drive customer outcomes and consumption: Ensure Sellers understand which Services Solution and Industry Priorities drive digital transformation and cloud consumption, by evangelizing the GTM Framework Priorities and Key Offers to Services Sales Managers and Sellers.
• Build a healthy, predictable Sales business: Generate demand and ensure pipeline coverage for Quarter+2 and Quarter+3 by executing required Worldwide Solution Area or Support Sales Campaigns each quarter for targeted high propensity accounts.

Qualifications

Key Experience, Skills, Knowledge & Education Required: 

• 5+ years of enterprise customer experience, executing recognized marketing and/or sales methods and processes in a technology industry
• Proven track record in designing and executing demand generation activities
• Passionate about customer success and knowledgeable about how to help customers realize value
• Proven success in cross-group collaboration, proven ability to “influence without authority”
• Strong analytical skills used to facilitate data-driven prioritization of targeted customers
• Proven program/project management skills, with ability to work on several projects at the same time
• Bachelor’s Degree - relevant fields of study include Marketing, Business, Information Technology, Computer Science
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

 

Capabilities Profile 

• Customer Engagement Motion Specialist – Ability to: drive territory-based customer motions to generate leads.
• Intentional Selling Coach – Ability to: Evangelize a GTM approach and coach sales managers and sellers to leverage GTM approach to sell intentionally and support Account Planning coaching conversations.
• Growth Agent – Ability to: Execute demand generation activities and grow Quarter+2 and Quarter+3 pipeline, aligned to GTM approach.
