DIBS’ IT organisation is responsible for maintaining our payment gateways, developing new features, and keeping the platform operational and compliant. Besides our payment gateways we are also responsible for the internal IT for the entire DIBS organisation.

We are focused on agile and working in cross functional scrum teams, so becoming a part of the IT organisation will mean more than 30 talented colleagues with competences within development, quality assurance, operations, architecture, agile scrum methods and leadership.

To be a part of the development and operation of our payment platforms, we are looking for a software architect. You will get a diverse job with great possibilities for professional and personal development, with a focus on agile, continuous integrations and deployment. You will be a part of an architecture team who handles the architecture and infrastructure for our applications.

You will amongst other things be working with modernizing our existing platforms, effectivization, and creating and keeping overview while also being a sparring partner for our agile SCRUM teams.

You will report directly to our CTO. The position will also involve some traveling within the company, primarily to our other offices in Scandinavia.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

• Break up and overall design of new components
• Implementation and development of solutions in collaboration with the dev/ops team
• Development of PoC for solution proposals
• Clarification of the strategy for our technical roadmap, and being a part of defining our target architecture
• Own the overview of our current and future system landscape
• Optimise and reduce complexity in our platforms as a service.

You have experience with transaction heavy systems where focus on up-time, performance, scaling and security (PCI-DSS) are top priority.

Your professional qualifications and background should include:

• Experience with Java and C++ technology stacks
• Experience with Redhat products (RHEL, Ansible, Sattelite, Cloudforms)
• Experience with VMware
• Practical experience with service-oriented solutions
• Experience with high load/performance and redundant systems
• Experience with databases (Sybase, MySQL, Percona cluster)
• Experience with software development processes and techniques
• You can document solutions, so others can implement them
• You are fluent oral and written in both Danish and English
• You think dev-ops and can cooperate with agile teams and operations.

Of your personal qualifications we would value:

The position includes a close cooperation with both developers and business people, so it is important you can communicate your ideas so both technical and non-technical colleagues can understand them. You need to be result oriented, structured, and good at expressing yourself verbally as well as written in both Danish and English. The ability to analyse, be strategic and take own initiative is equally as important.
