Sourcing Manager for strategic sourcing and business development

Are you an experienced procurement professional with a strategic ‘can-do’ mindset?  

Join us and become Sourcing Manager in Indirect Procurement where you’ll be responsible for managing the sourcing within categories such as marketing, facility management, audit, financial advice, management consultants, HR services, legal, travel etc., globally and group-wide. This includes the responsibility for defining sourcing strategies and ensuring strategic development in your categories and leading sourcing and tender projects in close cooperation with the business stakeholders. You’ll have considerable impact across the entire organisation, while operating and learning at a high pace. You’ll join a team of seven procurement professionals who focus on strategic sourcing and business development, delivering bottom-line results and non-financial value. Your key tasks will be to 

• be commercially responsible for sourcing goods and services within mainly marketing and facility management 
• lead and deliver entire strategic sourcing projects from start to finish (i.e. market analysis, tender process, negotiations, key stakeholder management, implementation, contract management etc.) 
• build relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation to support the realisation and optimisation of commercial value  
• handle commercial issues arising from contracts, including issues related to supplier performance and contract interpretation  
• proactively suggest improvements to processes, procedures, workflows and organisational structures related to strategic sourcing.  

 The ideal Sourcing Manager will have significant influence on the prioritisation of areas of actions and the strategic development within these areas.    

Your qualifications and core competences include that you 

• have a cross-disciplinary background based on a master’s degree in economics, law or engineering 
• have substantial experience with strategic sourcing, as well as a broad and deep knowledge of sourcing processes – a well-developed sourcing ‘toolbox’ 
• are an experienced negotiator, taking responsibility for planning and executing the negotiation process 
• have project management skills – planning and leading the execution of strategic sourcing projects 
• have an analytical mindset and know the tools and methods for extracting and analysing market, supplier, spending and performance data. 

 Furthermore, you thrive in an international environment, energising the people around you and are able to create good relationships with your stakeholders – internally and externally. You’ve excellent communication and presentation skills and speak and write English at business level. Experience with tendering according to EU-tender law, contract law, including contract advice and management, i.e. securing contract compliance within the organisation and value creation, and working in SAP R3 will be a plus.  Your experience and knowledge could be gained from a larger organisation, in a corresponding position.
