Haldor Topsøe is an international company in rapid development. Our headquarters is based in Denmark, but the vast majority of our highly specialized catalysts and technologies are sold to industrial plants throughout the world.
We now offer a unique position as student assistant supporting both our Global Regulatory Affairs department (GRA) and our Environment, Health, and Safety Department (EHS). GRA is the global competence center for monitoring and managing chemical legislation. EHS takes care of the daily environment, health, and safety work at our headquarters in Ravnholm.
We give you a high degree of flexibility allowing you to work more during your school breaks and less during exam-periods.
Your responsibilities
- Assisting in creating and maintaining workplace instructions.
- Assisting in maintaining chemical data in connection with updates and improvement projects in GRA.
- Ad-hoc assignments in GRA within The Chemical Act, chemical management, and maintaining data.
- Ad-hoc assignments in EHS e.g. campaign support and intranet updates.
You
- have a chemical background
- have flair for working with different IT-systems (excel) and databases
- are curious and have an enquiring approach
- have a “can do” - attitude
- demonstrate initiative and are a great team player
- possess great communication skills in both Danish and English, and are able to interact with many different people from various cultures.
Qualifications
We are looking for a student with a chemical background and a flair for working with IT-systems. All data and documentation on our chemicals and products are handled in SAP/EHS, and we provide training in using the system.
