About the position

For our Finance organization in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy located in Vejle we are looking for a self-driven student worker to support the Treasury team responsible for liquidity and cash management as well as mitigation of currency risks, FX Accounting, insurance and guarantee management. 
By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to prepare for your future career in an international environment as we are working directly with sales, operations and finance professionals throughout the entire organization. As a student worker you will be supporting the different activities of the team which include tasks in the area of identification, evaluation as well as controlling of foreign currency risk. In general, it is a great place to gain insight in both financial and accounting processes.

What are my responsibilities?

• Support and monitoring of project specific FX rates to sales 
• Accounting for currency management related areas
• Maintenance of the currency management system
• Controlling of hedging portfolio and hedging alignments with operations
• Support the delivery of liquidity forecasts
• Other ad hoc tasks for the team 

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• You are enrolled in a relevant higher education on Bachelor or Master level and have passed the first semesters with good results (please attach your grade transcripts and write the expected graduation date in your CV)
• You are an advanced user of MS Office and have a flair for IT systems in general
• VBA knowledge is preferred but not a requirement
• You are a team player, goal oriented, self-driven and well-structured
• You possess excellent communication skills and are fluent in English both orally and in writing
