About the department 
The department Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) is part of Devices & Supply Chain Management (D&S) and employs over 2.000 employees. D&S is responsible for devices and the supply chain management across PS. PS has a global production network with production sites in e.g. USA, Brazil and Japan.
 
The SNP team itself is anchored in the Sales & Operations Planning team and is overall responsible for global tactical planning for all production sites balancing supply and demand on a 2 year horizon. We are responsible for creating maximum supply chain transparency across PS supported with various supply chain tools & reports.

The position 
As a Supply Network Planner, you will be responsible for the tactical planning for one or more of our production sites around the world. Your key objective is to make sure that the S&OP strategy is executed in the production planning system (SAP APO). This includes maintenance of relevant master data and alignment with key stakeholders such as: S&OP, logistic areas and management at the production sites, purchasing and finance. The tactical planning is crucial to the Supply Chain in Novo Nordisk as it provides a robust and stable foundation for operational planning and reduces unforeseen barriers by balancing the demands with capacity and inventory.
 
In this role, stakeholder management is very important as you will need to validate and challenge inputs from the production sites and based on that, highlight to the S&OP team potential risks which requires management attention and decision making. You will be a trusted and valued business partner to our stakeholders.
 
In order to get in-depth knowledge and foster good collaboration with the production sites, the position might involve travelling, as a great deal of our production facilities is international. The position is temporary (24 months).

Qualifications
We expect you to have more than 3 year of supply chain experience and have a relevant university degree preferable in Supply Chain Management, Finance or similar. You have excellent data, presentation and analytical skills and preferable has previously worked with operational or tactical planning and SAP APO.

The candidate we are looking for is a lean enthusiast and passionate about driving continuous improvements in a global supply chain context. Your flair for details and structured approach is one of your core competences and you are capable of translating complex matters.
 
Lastly, as the SNP team is an international team with a global footprint you must be able to speak and write English fluently. Fluency in Portuguese, Russian, Japanese or Danish would be an advantage.
