In Service Wind Power we are establishing a global R&D department for the development of new service products. The R&D organization will consist of various research domains, one being 'SCADA / Grid / Controls' & Data. Key deliverable of this specific domain will be smart control features that outline the next generation of upgrade products of our portfolio. Our turbines are generating manifold data information every minute. Leveraging on this data to unfold optimization potential in the turbine control policy is already a major focus area but will be further strengthened in the future.We are looking a Team Lead to build up a SCADA, Grid, Control & Data department focusing on delivering R&D to the aftermarket. What are my responsibilities? The scope: Technology and product development, design, validation and implementation of control offerings for the Siemens Wind Turbine fleet already installed, in daily called Modernisation & Upgrades. As a Team Lead you will be part of building up the Service R&D organisation and after that you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a highly skilled team. More specifically, your responsibilities will cover: · Planning team tasks and availability of team resources as well as ensuring that the required competences are in the team · Coaching and motivating your team, including setting targets for team members, following up on team KPIs and conducting monthly talks with individual team members · Creating team capacity plan based on the wind turbine road map · Ensuring SW & Data deliveries lives up to Siemens Quality standards · Due to the size of the team you should expect to participate in the daily work as well What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have minimum 2 years of relevant management experience. · You have a Master in Software engineering, Electrical engineering or Electronic engineering combined with a profound understanding of software and the connection between software and machine · Experience with people management and installing & commission of wind turbine automation systems is preferable and work experience within the wind industry · You are motivated by working with uncertainties and in the establishment phase · You have well-developed analytical skills as well as a structured and detail-oriented approach to your work. You thrive with a hectic work life and will do your best to service our customers and keep systems and turbines running · You are a dedicated team player, independent and a skilled communicator with good networking skills and thrive in a big international organization. Furthermore you have excellent English skills, both orally and in writing · Preferable you have profound understanding of the system around the Wind turbine as well as the control of the Wind Turbine and Wind Farms · You are trust- and network-builder, goal-oriented, and proactive in your engagement with employees and internal and external stakeholders. It is essential to have strong communication and collaboration skill. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
