Danfoss Electronic Controller & Services (EC&S) is looking for a Technical Writer in Nordborg. Your role will be to create and maintain user documentation for new electronic controller and services products. This is done in close cooperation with R&D and Product Management. You will be the interface to the Danfoss Cooling Product Information Publishing Team, which is responsible for the practical implementation, translation, etc. and you will play a key role establishing new methods of working. Here you will interact and cooperate closely with our India-based DTP-Office Team organization for the entire Danfoss Cooling. As Technical Writer you must be able to turn internal technical documentation into easily accessible technical literature for external use, which is a significant part of the overall product value. Working with colleagues across functions and locations is key in achieving this successfully. As a person, you are self-motivated, passionate and devoted, a quick learner, highly organized with strong attention to detail and a good team player who can interact with others, across borders and cultures.
 
Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you must have a relevant educational background, or, alternatively, solid and relevant work experience, combined with a technical understanding, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Min. 3 years of experience as a technical writer for an agency or in-house team
• The ability to create technical guides at different skill levels and in a logical, comprehensive way
• An in-depth understanding of what makes great user guides, documentation and FAQs
• Flair for technical details
• Experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Access and Acrobat prof or similar tools
• Excellent written and spoken English skills - ideally equipped with a degree taught in English
