We develop the coolest automated industrial robots in the world and due to our talented and skilled group of employees and not least an outstanding team effort we have positioned ourselves as a market leader within our field of expertise.

To strengthen our position even further we have decided to create a new role within our solution test team. Becoming our new customer focused Test Engineer, you will refer to Team Leader, Solution Test and be based at our HQ in Odense. Your main task will be to help ensure test coverage and high quality and to support our technical support team with alpha/beta test programs on customer’s sites.

Your experience with robotics and test of related products will help you in this role. As you will be working much of the time in different team constellations it is essential that you are pro-active and have very good communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for several different tasks and it is therefore very important that you possess a good sense of urgency and are able to meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The job furthermore implies:

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes within the solution test team
  • Actively participate in cross project and knowledge transfer initiatives across functional teams where possible
  • Monitor support issues and maintaining entries in TestRail/Jira so that product issues are actively managed and Tested as they are resolved, and knowledge on how issues are resolved is captured and fed back to R&D where appropriate
  • Participate in a cross functional project team to develop new and/or maintain existing products
  • Collaborate with R&D on the creation of test plans, testing of products, problem analysis/trouble shooting
  • Up to 20 days of travel activity per year
  • Document findings

 About You

Professional competencies

You have a relevant BSc or MSc Degree (Mechanics, Robotics, Electronics) or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An ISTQB Foundation together with Prince2 are desirable as well as experience with formal training and programming. We expect you to be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and master English on a professional level both verbally and in writing.

Your work is structured and based on a good sense of responsibility and ownership. You solve your tasks with enthusiasm and you possess key skills such as organization.
