Translational scientist for Human Health Innovation, Bagsvaerd, Denmark
Human Health is a newly established platform at Novozymes that develops innovative products to improve the health of consumers. We are a high-energy team with diverse backgrounds on a mission to develop ingredient solutions mainly aimed at the consumer care space. We focus on probiotics and enzymes and base their development on strong scientific hypotheses and identified consumer demand. 

We now seek to recruit a Translational Scientist for Human Health Innovation to support the building of new scientific concepts and to drive the progress of ongoing projects. The position will require a keen interest in science and an ability to conceptualize new product ideas starting from the first scientific principles.

Your main tasks will be to:
•Evaluate and propose concepts to improve human health, and help drive their development through the pipeline.
•Evaluate market opportunities and identify competitive gaps from the scientific and medical perspectives.
•Monitor emerging science and identify scientific leads for new product development.
•Take on scientific project management tasks as needed.
•Assist in the creation of target product profiles and scientific strategies to deliver them.
•Work in close collaboration with business development, clinical development, scientific discovery, marketing, regulatory, and consumer understanding teams.

In this position, you need to have:
•PhD in biological sciences, preferably in gastrointestinal physiology, immunology, gut brain axis, or metabolic health.
•3-5 years experience working in an academic or industrial setting, either in the pharma or consumer care space.
•A good understanding of clinical research.
•Experience in leading whole or parts of projects aimed at improving human health.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
