Do you have solid experience as super user in SAP and exhaustive procurement experience? Do you have the power and perseverance to ensure implementation of new routines and procedures for both suppliers and internal stakeholders? Then you might be our new Vendor Manager in Nordic. You will be working very independently in a team of dedicated colleagues in Procurement Order Management (POM) in Nordborg. Managing, developing and streamlining suppliers As Vendor Manager you will work closely with Danfoss Procurement who is responsible for negotiating and signing contracts with suppliers. Together you will be responsible for securing alignment and continuous improvement in the P2P process for indirect materials and services. It is your job to implement and ensure LEAN structures and procedures and at the same time execute supplier centralisation and cost reduction. You will be a key player in a very central role that will cover: •Implementation and operation of contracts •Resp. for Implementation and operation of contracts in various plants - follow up meeting in the plants •Lead in consolidation - small suppliers •Negotiation and Handling Operational purchasing •Lead optimization projects •Support Business in sourcing and contact with DPI •Supplier performance – tactical and strategic dialogue •Overall support DP in supplier improvement - accelerate supplier consolidation •Follow up meetings in various plants with stakeholders regarding performance of suppliers •Be a driver/ownership in cost reductions and process optimization projects in cooperating with BU and Danfoss Procurement SAP super-user with sterling communication skills You have a relevant degree and several years’ working experience within the area. You have a broad business understanding and excellent purchasing and vendor procedure knowledge. You are an experienced user of Microsoft Office and a SAP super user. You have superb communication skills and a strong stamina with the courage to handle tough discussions with people at all levels. Your cooperation skills make you capable of influencing others across cultural and organisational differences in a diverse and global organisation. You are proactive and expected to take initiative in relation to tasks and challenges, and you are self-driven and able to make decisions.
