Would you like to become a Helicopter Superintendent with the responsibility for planning and supporting the use of helicopters for the construction of future offshore wind farms? Join us and become Helicopter Superintendent in Harbour & Offshore Logistics, which is supporting Wind Power projects with harbour logistics, marine inspection, offshore logistics, marine & helicopter coordination and offshore operation management. You will be part of the Offshore Logistics team, which is supporting our offshore wind projects with planning, definition and preparation of the logistics setup for transfer of personnel via vessels and helicopters to our offshore wind farms. The department is part of Wind Power, which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Your key duties will be to •support the individual offshore wind farm project teams by developing the optimum offshore aviation logistics setup for transfer of personnel to our offshore wind farms during the construction phase •be the key person to secure the compliance of aviation documentation and define the scope of use of aviation assets for logistics operations to our future offshore wind farms projects •assure capture of technical requirements of future offshore landing and hoisting areas •secure approvals are met in accordance with the overall project-commissioning plan •liaise with national aviation authorities to develop new industry standards for offshore wind flight operations. These responsibilities require that you are experienced with the project disciplines necessary for describing and developing the aviation documentation package, assuring adequate external and internal stakeholder management. You will cooperate with other fields of expertise in the preparation of ensuring helicopter transportation is made viable for transfer of people to our future wind farms. In addition, you will coordinate and liaise with helicopter functions of our other business units. Moreover, you will document and develop project plans and concepts for helicopter operations. You will also contribute and encourage to safety focus and proper standardisation You will manage your own projects and participate in those of others. You will report to our Team Lead, Marine Coordination & Offshore Logistics. Your qualifications and core competences include that you •have a relevant master's or bachelor's degree •have extensive knowledge of international (ICAO, EASA), national (Danish, UK, German) legislation and industrial standards regulating offshore helicopter operations •have experience within the offshore sector and/or expeditionary logistics operations •have excellent communication skills and speak and write English fluently. Experience with project matrix organisations is also an advantage. You thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are able to multitask without losing perspective. Additionally, you create results through teamwork and develop good relationships with your colleagues and external business partners. You ideally have some seniority within the field and can communicate at all levels in an organisation. It is furthermore essential that you have a positive attitude towards working in changing environment.
