Responsibilities

The Western Europe SAM & Compliance Manager in SMC (Small Medium and Corporate Team) role is responsible for helping organizations maximize value, minimize risk, and achieve more with their IT investments. In fact, this is our team’s mission. To accomplish this, the SAM&C Manager works together with many stakeholders across Microsoft Western Europe Sales offices, SAM Partners, Solution Integrators, ISVs and Microsoft Corporate teams to land the global SAM&C strategy across Western Europe.

The SAM & Compliance Manager SMC supports the local SAM teams (SAM Engagement Managers) across western Europe to work with account teams and segment leadership to execute SAM strategy locally with a balanced approach that delivers value to customers. 

The SAM & Compliance Manager SMC is responsible for working with the local SAM teams to ensure there is a skilled and solid partner ecosystem that provides customers with the full breadth of SAM Solution Assessments.  In each sales location, the channel must be equipped to provide SAM&C services either directly through SAM Partners but ever more through partner-to-partner connections  Partners must also manage their sales motion and process using the Microsoft Selling Process and tools and in collaboration with the local SAM teams.. 

The SAM&C Manager SMC role is focused on growing Cloud and Annuity revenue, driving customer satisfaction, and managing all aspects of Microsoft’s SAM and compliance business for small, medium businesses for the country.  The SAM&C Manager SMC key responsibilities include:

• Works with Microsoft SAM&C Corporate teams to land SAM&C strategy in Western Europe
• Develops Western Europe SAM&C specific strategy on SAM Value approach thru Partner ecosystem - Ensures that there is a healthy and skilled partner ecosystem to land SAM&C and maximise upsell, white space and cross-sell revenue. This involves working with the local SAM teams and with the Partner Development Managers through the SAM teams. The partners must also be equipped to follow the Microsoft Sales Proceses.
• Ensures that the SAM Engagement Managers in the local sales offices in Western Europe are equipped and skilledto articulate and sell SAM Solution Assessments. Ensure that the SAM Engagement Managers are enabled to execute the Microsoft Selling Process including pipeline management.
• Develop the SAM&C community in Western Europe and share best practise for continuos improvement
• Share insights and data to continually drive improvements and learnings across SAM &C in the Western Europe offices.
