Then you may be our new administrative assistant. About the department You will be part of Safety Operations, one of the functional areas in Global Safety. Global Safety is responsible for the global handling and reporting of adverse events to authorities, and the surveillance of the safety and quality of Novo Nordisk clinical development – and marketed products. Safety Operations consists of around 100 highly engaged colleagues working in a fast-paced environment reflecting the increasing demands from regulatory authorities. The position reports to the VP of Safety Operations. The Job You will have an important role in supporting and providing service to your colleagues across the departments. Your key responsibilities will be on-boarding of new employees and coordinating training programs on the basis of input from managers. As part of the assistant team you will be the anchor of the departments with a wide variety of tasks including procurement of office supplies, arranging meetings, minutes writing and other ad hoc administrative tasks. You will be the administrator and supporter of IT tasks and responsible for various quality assignments. Furthermore you will be member of two different networking groups for assistants together with your new assistant colleagues to exchange information and ensure collaboration across the organisation. Qualifications We are looking for an outgoing flexible person with experience in administrative support. You have a service-minded ”can-do” attitude, a good sense of humour and thrives working in a busy environment. You are good at maintaining overview and multitasking under tight deadlines, while still showing attention to details. You are trust worthy and proactive and are able to work independently. You have a sincere interest in people, have good communication skills and are proficient with both written and spoken English. You are strong at building relations and have a genuine desire to collaborate with many different stakeholders. Finally, you have excellent skills in MS office and you are familiar with SAP and GlobeShare. The application should be written in English.
