For our Procurement department we are looking for a Buyer for Production equipment and machinery (CAPEX) for our wind power energy business in Aalborg, Denmark. This is a varied role, where you will be responsible for optimizing supply and generating a contribution to operating profit while taking into account optimization of the total cost of ownership of your commodity. What are my responsibilities? · Contribute to the global Commodity strategy by implementing and communicating the strategy in the region to ensure on time and cost-efficient supply of Production equipment and machinery · Define and implement negotiation concepts and strategies to maximize savings. Negotiate and document global / local contracts and projects · Apply the usage of eProcurement tools (eRfX, eAuction/ eBidding) to improve the Procurement processes and efficiency · Generate, document and implement savings; plan, monitor and report on relevant KPIs and ensure the target achievement within the respective Commodity in the region to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent · Maintain regular contacts with interface partners such as Engineering, Maintenance department and Supplier Quality departments and other internal stakeholders · Ensure optimal contact to external suppliers and stakeholders What do I need to qualify for this job? · You hold a relevant education within Procurement or experience within strategic procurement · You have 2+ years of professional experience in a global environment within the areas of strategic procurement or supply chain management · You are an experienced negotiator with strong analytical skills · You have a systematic and structured approach to your assignments · As a person you are highly motivated, open minded and able to work independently · You recognize yourself as a strong team player with great communication skills · You are capable to work intensively with several interfaces and being able to manage a high workload and handle several tasks at the same time · You have excellent English skills both orally and in writing, and you are an advanced user of Microsoft Office · You are able to work in intercultural groups with participants with different backgrounds and origins In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
